We also collect information that users choose to share in public areas of the platform, submit through Chalky Math's features, or include in communications sent to our team.

We collect information to operate Chalky Math, support your child's learning, and keep the platform safe and secure. This includes:

• Providing all Chalky Math features and any special services you request (e.g., subscription options) and giving feedback on your child's math progress

We collect children's information only with parental consent and use it solely to support learning. We never share children's information to train external AI models.

Creating a Child Profile

Children under 13 cannot create their own accounts. Each child profile is linked to a parent account, and children can only access Chalky Math under parental supervision. Parents or guardians provide the child's basic information (e.g., name, grade) to set up the profile. We take care to collect only the information needed for the child to use Chalky Math and ensure parents can manage and monitor their child's account.

Information We Collect About Your Child and How We Use It

• Profile Information: Parents provide basic details to create a child profile. Chalky Math does not request additional personal information from the child.
• Usage Information: We track how your child interacts with Chalky Math — for example, completed math activities, quiz responses, and learning preferences — to personalize their experience and provide helpful feedback.
• Device Information: When a child accesses Chalky Math through a parent account, we automatically collect device and usage details (e.g., device type, browser, IP address, operating system) to improve performance, provide support, ensure security, and personalize the experience.

Sharing or Disclosing Children's Information

We share your child's personal information only when necessary to provide Chalky Math or with your consent. This may include:

• Trusted service providers who help operate Chalky Math (e.g., hosting, customer support, IT services)

Unless you request deletion, we retain your child's information only as long as necessary to provide the service, after which it is de-identified or deleted.

Minors

We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under the age of 16. For consumers between the ages of 13 and 16, we will not sell or share personal information unless the consumer has provided affirmative authorization. For consumers under the age of 13, we will not sell or share personal information unless a parent or legal guardian has provided verifiable consent.
